Folkestone was a pleasant curiosity to visit. Our group went there in late October before half term when the town was oddly quiet.

Singapore - a city of contrasts. Singapore, a more authoritarian country has its own sense of purpose, bustling yet friendly, strict yet safe.

Kuala Lumpur offers the opportunity to discover the fusion of culture that is Malay, Chinese and Indian, through its mix of food, religion and architecture.

There are three parts to the walk. The first walk is through the valley, rising upwards. These are punctuated with two stunning waterfalls.

This is a review of my experience as a customer with Trip.com (also known as CTrip.com) when I booked flight tickets from London to Kuala Lumpur (return) with Singapore Airlines.

Whilst students were absent there was a few tourists like ourselves, and a small number of hen parties. The city centre was neither crowded nor unsafe.

Photos from Swanage including Corfe Castle, Swanage Railway, and Studland Bay. Coming from London you have drive past Bournemouth. Without a straightforward by-pass this is a long and tedious A Road journey. So you have to really want to go…

In 2022 I visited Penang. I walked the streets of George Town. The Penang street art may have lost an audience but it still gave the city its own authenticity.

Living in Kuala Lumpur for a very short period of time was just enough to expose me to the contrast between managing coronavirus in the UK and in Malaysia.
